What are we looking forCentral Agri Group are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Contractor Administrator to join our team at Campbellfield VIC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing contracts and relationships with vendors, contractors, and suppliers in the meat processing industry. This role requires strong negotiation skills, a solid understanding of regulatory compliance, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to ensure seamless project execution.Role requirementsContract Management: Oversee the preparation, negotiation, and execution of contracts with contractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Vendor Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors and suppliers, addressing any issues or concerns promptly to ensure optimal performance.
Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all contractor activities adhere to legal, safety, and quality standards specific to the meat processing industry.
Budget Oversight: Assist in the development and management of budgets related to contractor services, monitoring expenditures to ensure adherence to financial plans.
Performance Evaluation: Regularly assess contractor performance and provide feedback, conducting evaluations to ensure service quality and efficiency.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of contracts, correspondence, and other relevant documentation related to contractor management.
Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, production, and quality assurance teams to identify needs and coordinate contractor services accordingly.
Reporting: Generate reports on contractor activities, performance metrics, and compliance status for management review.
About youIdeal applicant will possess the followingBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred. (Not essential)
3+ years of experience in contract administration or vendor management, preferably in the meat processing or food production industry.
Knowledge of contract law and regulatory compliance.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management Software.
