Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAnalyze different investment products, including their credit and market characteristics.Review and evaluate the Investment Policy for the Group and its affiliates.Analyze and prepare semi-annual compliance reports in accordance with Chapter 6 of the Insurance Code.Analyze the securities market and identify investment opportunities. Present recommendations to the CIO and VP.Collaborate with the CIO to prepare tickets and execute buy and sell transactions for securities.Analyze and identify investment strategies and opportunities.Analyze and manage financing and liquidity structures.Manage and perform analyses of portfolios using Bloomberg.Analyze and manage alternative investment portfolios.Design presentations on the status of investment portfolios.Monitor and perform statutory compliance analysis of reinsurance investment portfolios.Directly supervise employees within the unit according to company policies and procedures.Participate in special tasks and/or projects as requested.Educational and/or ExperienceMaster’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and eight (8) years of experience in investment management and finance, or a combination of education and equivalent experience.Experience in supervising personnel and developing human capital.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI) or a similar tool defined as a company standard for electronic information communication.Ability to analyze information, evaluate cases, and make sound decisions.Knowledge and experience in handling and analyzing data for insurance company portfolios are preferred.Ability to manage high volumes of work and meet established deadlines, handling multiple tasks simultaneously while setting priorities.Ability to work collaboratively and as part of a team.Ability to define problems, collect information, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Leadership skills, proactivity, and empowerment in work situations.Employer with Equal Employment Opportunity
