Are you looking to contribute to the community in a meaningful way?Health New Zealand, is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join the Christchurch Hospital WellFood Department. Join our dedicated and hard-working WellFood Department and help feed our tūroro (patients) and whānau (families).Our kitchen kapa (team) are responsible for ensuring that the needs of each tūroro (patient) is met to the highest standard. Following standardised recipes and using creative flair to present food that we can be proud of while maintaining clean and tidy working areas. You will be required to following food handling, safety and infection control policies and procedures.The kitchen operates 6am to 8pm Monday to Sunday. Starting rate $23.75 per hour, based on the E tū Service and Food Workers collective agreement.Ko wai koe – About YouWe are looking for a motivated, reliable, hardworking and flexible candidate who is able to bring their passion for hospitality services to our facilities.This role would suit someone who is looking for flexible working hours, is able to work on their feet and can focus in busy, loud environments.
