Hours of work: part-timeTo view academic salary scales, pleasePosition Overviewinvites applications for the position of Lecturer in Health Sciences.Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this roleIf you have a passion for teaching and working with tauria from different undergraduate programmes then this is the position for you. This role is a part-time (0.6FTE / 22.5 hours) fixed-term position that starts on 6th January 2025 and ends 15 December 2026. This position is based at our Albany campus in Auckland.You will be involved in teaching in the subject areas of pharmacology, physiology and pathophysiology in undergraduate and postgraduate courses. You will also be the course coordinator of the undergraduate Pharmacology course and involved in teaching pathophysiology courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. Experience in providing online delivery of courses is required and there is potential for supervision of PG students.About you | Ko koe tēneiApplicants are expected to:
- Possess a PhD in sciences or equivalent
- Have experience in on-line delivery of courses
- Teach in undergraduate courses part of Bachelor Health Sciences, Bachelor Nursing and Bachelor Science
- Teach in Postgraduate pathophysiology course
- Demonstrate excellent teamwork and self-management skills.
