Seeking a dedicated and skilled Manager to join our Human Resources TeamThe Manager of Employee Conduct and Investigations is accountable to the Director HR Business Partnership for the management, leadership, coordination and conduct of employee conduct investigations particularly but not limited to those which are complex, serious and highly sensitive.About the role:As the Employee Conduct and Investigations Manager, duties for the role may involve:

  • Ensure the delivery of high quality employee conduct and investigation systems and reporting in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide leadership and support to Human Resource Business partners in the coordination, planning and conduct of employee conduct and investigations
  • Identifying and gathering evidence in accordance with evidentiary practice and legislated requirements including obtaining expert evidence from specialist witnesses where applicable
  • Establish and maintain liaison with law enforcement bodies following allegations of employee related criminal activity; and misconduct including corruption

About you:

  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain effective collaborative working relationships and business partnerships with clients by demonstrating a high level of professional integrity and competence that contributes to the achievement of objectives,
  • Highly proficient verbal communication skills and ability to liaise with all levels,
  • Significant experience in undertaking investigations including investigation procedures and techniques and the ability to analyse and determine essential elements of investigations,
  • Experience in conducting misconduct investigations in the SA Public Sector environment.
