Join us and be part of an organization that is dedicated to giving back, offering you the chance to make a difference where it matters most.We are seeking passionate Relief or Traveling Store Managers who bring energy, enthusiasm, and a sense of adventure to remote locations in Western Australia, Queensland, and the Northern Territory. Live on site during your assignment and work in places few people ever get to visit, while experiencing the beauty and spirit of Outback Australia.Your Role:As a Travelling Relief Store Manager it is your job to relieve store managers when they need to leave site and go back on holiday or they are ill. You will be flown to different locations across Far North QLD, NT and WA. This truly is a remarkable role that will see you build exposure in multiple First Nations areas across Australia. You will manage and lead the stores operations – you will become an integral part of the local community, fostering strong relationships and contributing to positive outcomes for all. Key responsibilities include:
- Running the store in day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth running of the business, from stock management to customer service, rostering and all end-to-end store tasks.
- Supporting the local community by driving profitable results that benefit both the store and the wider region.
- Creating a welcoming, inclusive environment that respects and celebrates Indigenous culture.
About You:You are a driven individual with experience in a fast-paced retail environment, you have 3+ years in Store Management – ideally in FMCG. You are passionate about leading and excited by the opportunity for mentoring duty managers and the wider team. You possess strong financial management skills, an adventurous spirit, and a desire to work in diverse cross-cultural settings. You are hands-on, patient, and ready to get involved in all aspects of store operations.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in retail
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
