An exciting opportunity exists to join the Dietetics Department at Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals in a new Senior Critical Care Dietitian role. This is a specialist position focused on managing the nutritional needs of patients in Intensive Care, and supporting other dietitians in the department. Campbelltown Hospital continues to undergo redevelopment and expansion including critical care services. The intensive care unit is a 16 bed unit.What You’ll be Doing
This position is responsible for providing patient centred and high quality nutrition services to clients in Critical Care Department at Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals, including providing nutritional care to patients as per caseload; provide and participate in education and evaluation; supervise students and Level 1-2 dietitian as appropriate; and participate in ongoing professional development.Where You’ll Be Working

- Relevant clinical experience including demonstrated advanced practice skills and management of complex case load.
- Demonstrated experience in the area of critical care
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including group education skills and excellent computer skills including CBORD
- Experience and knowledge in service development and quality improvement
- Demonstrated commitment to continued professional development and evidence based practice
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of the team
- Demonstrated ability in clinical supervision of students and/or staff
