Descripción de funciones: For Cost Control and Accounting services in the Engineering area. WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT: The Technical Part: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Finance, or a related field and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in project controls, cost estimating, or a similar role.Bilingual: Spanish and English Shift: Administrative and according to business needs Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with project teams and stakeholders.Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Experience in: Cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis.Project management software and tools.Commercial and contract terms related to project management.Preparing funding documents and cash flow projections is a plus. The Personality Part: Our Next Piece is someone who treats everyone they meet like family, especially our resources, clients and team members.In other words, being a customer service pro is one your (many) talents.Being the Piece means you’re full of bright ideas and eager to innovate, always bringing top-quality results to the table.Are you ready to take on this new challenge?AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job) Collaborate with the project team to align estimates, cost accounting, and schedules to ensure seamless integration of costs.Attend meetings during both the engineering and construction phases to provide project control insights and updates.Support project management in evaluating project costs and analyzing change orders and forecasts.Assess project contingency budgets and monitor their usage throughout the project’s duration.Review payment applications to validate claimed progress and ensure compliance with commercial and contract terms.Maintain and update project controls files to reflect the current status of projects.Assist Project Managers in tracking scope, schedule, cost, and resources against approved funding.Aid the project sponsor in the preparation of funding documents.Prepare monthly project accruals to ensure accurate financial tracking.Establish and manage cash flow projections for ongoing projects.Audit capital project invoices prior to payment to ensure accuracy and compliance.WHO WE ARE: We are a Service Provider company different from the rest.We pride ourselves in how we treat the most important piece of our company’s puzzle: you!We integrate Engineering, Construction, Maintenance, Utilities and Specialized Technical services across the Island (and in the US as well!).Our company is flexible, family-oriented and focused on our resources’ well-being, while providing our Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Manufacturing industry clients with top-notch quality talent.
