Descripción de funciones: Main Objective of the Position:In this position, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing key operational tasks to ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process for different BASF business units within the US. As a Recruiter, you will support the end-to-end hiring process, starting from identifying qualified candidates that apply to our requisitions, all the way through onboarding new employees. You will be accountable for reviewing and screening candidates, scheduling candidate interviews, providing timely communication and candidate support via email and phone, drafting offer letters, and initiating and coordinating background and medical checks.Main Tasks:

  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition Partner team to ensure timely execution of recruiting activities resulting in qualified talent delivered to our stakeholders, while also providing candidates and Hiring Managers a first-rate support and experience.
  • Identify qualified applicants, conduct phone screens and encourage completion of assessments.
  • Keep the candidate pipeline up to date by timely rejecting those that do not match the minimum requirements.
  • Provide applicant support via email and phone to encourage engagement through the recruiting process and clarify any questions, selling BASF’s mission and vision, and positioning BASF as an employer of choice.
  • Schedule interviews, arrange room reservations, and block interviewers’ calendars. Communicate promptly with candidates, providing them with all necessary details to properly equip them for their interviews.
  • Draft offer letters for both internal and external candidates, tailoring them to reflect the unique aspects of each position. Pay careful attention to nuances such as exempt and nonexempt positions, ensuring that the offers are comprehensive and under compliance.
  • Prioritize the completion of background and medical checks in a timely manner, highlighting our commitment to maintaining a safe and secure work environment for all employees. This attention to detail all throughout the process is key, as it will give candidates confidence in our Company.
  • Efficiently transfer candidate files and information to SAP and myHR to initiate the onboarding process.
  • Collaborate in different projects related to recruitment activities, process improvement, and tools implementation.

Minimum Education and Qualification Requirements for the Position:Education | University degree or advanced student of Human Resources or Business Administration (preferred).Work Experience | 3 – 5 years of experience in an operational role focused on service delivery, preferably in Human Resources.Languages | Advanced level of English proficiency in both oral and written communication.Technical Skills | Advance skills in applicant tracking system (ATS) ex. Taleo / Success Factor. Quick learner on new systems. Ability to identify areas of improvement and develop action plans to work towards that goal.Soft Skills | Communication, excellent organizational skills and adaptability.BASF considera la Ley N° 19.691 y el Decreto N° 73/019 en todos sus procesos de contratación.
